Tempo Step-by-Step Looping Footswitch Mute, Solo
Navigation controls allow the user to start and stop the playback of the sound and display of fret board animation. User can choose the playback location at any position in the song by clicking in the black navigation strip at the bottom. The numbers labeled below the navigation strip represent the song measure.

Figure 4.1: Navigation and Playback Controls
Description of the main navigation controls from the above screen shot :
- Play, Stop, Pause and Playback
Mode controls.
- Indicates current
position.
- Zoom in and out in the
navigation strip.
When you start learning a new song you will probably want to slow down the playback. Use the up/down arrow buttons next to the tempo display box. Numbers smaller than 1.0 cause song to slow down, numbers greater than 1.0 will speed it up.
Click the Playback Mode button to switch from continuous playback to Step-By-Step playback. When the playback is invoked by pressing the play button, footswitch button or the SPACEBAR the song playback advances only to the next guitar fingering position.
This mode gives the user a complete control over timing and when to trigger the playback of the next set of notes.
While practicing a section of a song it is useful to start from the same position over and over again. When auto-rewind option is checked the current position jumps back to the location of the cursor in the navigation strip whenever the STOP button is clicked or end of the song is encountered.
Similarly, when practicing a section of a song you might want to limit the end position of the playback as well as the start position. Click inside the black navigation strip and drag the mouse to mark the desired section of the song,

Figure 4.2: Selecting a Loop Section
When the LOOP option is checked in the navigation strip the song playback will continuously loop over the selected section.
The 2-button USB footswitch allows you to keep your hands continuously on your instrument while being able to play, stop, rewind and step-practice.
Plug the USB coble from the footswitch into your computer and the indicator icon will light up,
